Vowfield
About Vowfield
Vowfield is a free, multilingual service that helps the two of you find wedding venues to tour and compare. We are a matching service — not a wedding venue, caterer, or wedding planner.
What Vowfield does
Planning a wedding can feel exciting one minute and overwhelming the next. Vowfield helps couples across the United States get matched with wedding venues that fit their setting, city, rough guest count, and budget direction, so you can spend less time guessing and more time figuring out what feels right for your day.
We are not a wedding venue, and we do not host weddings. We are also not a wedding planner, caterer, or legal or financial advisor. Our role is simple: we help connect the two of you with venues near your preferred area so you can tour, compare, ask questions, and decide what works best.
The service is free for the couple. You stay in control the whole time.
Who we help
Vowfield is for couples at many different starting points. Maybe you already know you want a garden, ballroom, vineyard, beach, barn, rooftop, or historic estate. Maybe you just know your rough date, your guest list is starting to take shape, and you want to avoid wasting time on places that do not fit.
We are especially glad to help couples who are planning from another city or another country, or who feel more comfortable reading in a language other than English. Weddings look different in every culture, faith, and family, and your celebration does not need to fit one template to be beautiful.
If you want a simple place to begin, you can see how it works or get matched.
What information we ask for
To help with matching, we collect basic contact information and wedding intent only. That usually means your names, phone number, optional email, preferred language, city or ZIP code, the kind of setting you like, your rough date, and your rough guest count.
We do not ask for bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, immigration documents, income details, or other sensitive personal records. You should only share the basic details needed to help start venue conversations.
If you have a question before you begin, you can contact us.
A plain note about cost
Wedding venue pricing can vary a lot, even within the same city. As a very general example, some smaller or simpler venue rentals may start around $2,000 to $8,000, while many full-service venues land somewhere around $8,000 to $25,000+ before food, drink, service charges, rentals, or other wedding costs are fully added. In major metro areas or at high-demand luxury properties, the total can go much higher.
Those are not quotes. The real number depends on the date, the season, the day of the week, the city, your guest count, and what is included. A Friday in winter may price very differently from a Saturday in peak season. A venue that looks higher at first may include tables, chairs, staffing, or coordination, while a lower site fee may still come with rentals and outside vendor costs.
As you compare places, ask about the full picture: site fee, food-and-beverage minimum, per-plate pricing, service charge, deposit, overtime, cancellation terms, vendor restrictions, and corkage. Always confirm the price and your date in writing, and read the full contract before paying a deposit or signing.
How to use Vowfield wisely
The best matches usually happen when the two of you are honest about your must-haves, your nice-to-haves, and the budget range you are trying to protect. A clear rough guest count and a realistic date window can save a lot of back-and-forth.
- Tell us your basic wedding details.
- Review venue options that fit what you shared.
- Tour and compare the places you like.
- Ask each venue for the all-in cost and what is included.
- Confirm everything in writing before you book.
That last part matters. We cannot promise a specific venue, a held date, or a guaranteed booking. The final choice is always yours, and the venue's own availability, pricing, and contract are what control the booking.
Vowfield is a free, multilingual service that helps you find and compare wedding venues near you, but we are not a venue or planner.
