Vowfield
Disclaimer
Vowfield is a free service that helps the two of you get matched with wedding venues to tour and compare. We do not host weddings, set venue prices, or give legal or financial advice.
What Vowfield does
Vowfield is a free matching service for couples planning a wedding in the United States. We help you connect with participating wedding venues that fit your city, rough date, guest count, setting, and language preferences.
That means we are not the venue, not the caterer, and not a wedding planner. We do not hold your date, negotiate your contract, collect deposits, or make booking decisions for a venue.
Your role stays simple and important: you tour, compare, ask questions, review the full terms, and choose what feels right for your day.
What this page is — and is not
Everything on Vowfield is general information only. It is meant to help you understand the wedding-venue search process, not to replace the venue's own contract or advice from a licensed attorney, accountant, or other qualified professional.
If you have questions about legal language, cancellation rights, taxes, insurance, or how a payment could affect your budget, please rely on the venue's written contract and a licensed professional. Rules, costs, and local requirements can vary by city, county, and state.
You can also read our Terms and Privacy Policy for the details of how the service works.
About prices, estimates, and cost ranges
We may share general wedding cost ranges to help you plan, but those ranges are not quotes and never a promise. Real pricing depends on the date, the season, the day of the week, the city, your guest count, and what is included.
For example, a venue might charge a site fee anywhere from about $1,500 to $15,000+, while food-and-beverage packages in some markets may start around $40 to $75 per person and rise to $150+ per person or more. In higher-cost cities, peak Saturdays, or full-service venues, totals can be much higher. Smaller guest counts, off-season dates, Fridays, Sundays, mornings, or simpler packages may cost less.
Venue pricing can also include fine print that changes the real total: food-and-beverage minimums, per-plate pricing, service charges, deposits, overtime, cancellation terms, vendor restrictions, corkage fees, parking, rentals, taxes, and cleanup. Always confirm the current price and your date in writing before you pay a deposit or sign anything.
What information we collect
To help with matching, we collect only basic contact and wedding-intent details: your names, phone number, optional email, preferred setting, city or ZIP, rough date, rough guest count, and preferred language.
We do not ask for financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, immigration documents, income details, or other sensitive personal records to use the matching service.
If you want to understand how your information is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibility before you book
Before you choose a venue, slow down and confirm the details in writing. A beautiful space can still be the wrong fit if the contract terms, guest flow, or all-in cost do not work for your budget or your plans.
- Tour the venue or arrange a live virtual walkthrough if you are planning from another city or country
- Ask for an itemized estimate that shows the site fee, food-and-beverage minimum, per-person charges, service charges, taxes, rentals, and any add-ons
- Confirm what is included and what is not included
- Ask about deposits, payment schedule, overtime, cancellation, rain plan, setup and cleanup time, and vendor rules
- Read the full contract before paying or signing
- Keep copies of emails, proposals, and the signed agreement
If anything feels unclear, ask the venue to explain it in plain language. You stay in control of the decision.
No guarantees, but help when you need it
We cannot guarantee a specific venue, a specific price, a held date, or that a venue will ultimately accept a booking. Availability changes quickly, and each venue has its own policies, contract terms, and final approval process.
What we can do is help you start the search clearly, in your preferred language when possible, and without charging you for the match. If you have questions about using Vowfield, please contact us.
Vowfield helps you find venues for free, but the two of you should always confirm price, availability, and contract terms directly with the venue before paying anything.
